Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
Robot vacuum cleaners and mops are the most efficient way to quickly clean up mess. The top robot vacuums and mops that I have tested have top-notch mapping and navigation and are able to pick up Cheerios wires, tangled wires and fake dog turds, without leaving them behind.
You can also schedule cleaning tasks using an app and track their progress.

1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
If you're looking for the top robot vacuum and mop combo with cutting-edge features look no further than the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This high-end model is incredibly fast and nimble it can remove debris such as pet hair and human hair with a near perfect accuracy in our Debris Pickup Test. It has a sleek app interface with an interactive map of your home, as well as buttons on the screen for manual control.
The S8's Dirt Detection Technology allows it to alter the cleaning mode based on dirt levels. It will wash its mopping pads more frequently when it encounters dust. Carpeted areas are given the first priority when mopping with a damp mopping pad.
It's got a host of other features that are smart as well, including a different dock that connects to your home plumbing to wash and clean the mop roller, without having you to refill it manually. You can even use voice commands to control the built-in voice assistant of the S8 that can be activated by saying "Hey Rocky" to specify rooms cleaning, modes and granular control options with your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking for a hands-off robot vacuum with mopping capabilities, the Yeedi Cube is one of the more flexible choices. It's part of a litany of robot vacuums that also feature mops but comes at a lower price than many of the competitors.
As with most robovacs the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it up and running. This involves setting up an account on the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once that's done the robot can begin cleaning and mopping easily.
It is important to remember that the mapping process can take a while, and the Yeedi Cube may need a few tries before it gets a good picture of your space. In addition the detection of objects can be difficult to determine It was able to skirt furniture and other obstacles but was stuck on a looser tassel rug and had to turn it over to get free. But these are minor flaws, and the Yeedi Cube is still a excellent choice for those who need an all-in-one cleaner.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features the rotation of the motion, which is similar to hand scrubbers. This means that floors are cleaned, not just cleaned. And its detachable stick vacuum is a game changer that allows you to reach spots even a robotic vacuum can't.
The model is basically the same as the popular X2 Omni, but with an a bit higher suction capacity of 8700Pa, and a few additional clever features. The upgraded RGBD sensor will learn to understand your home's surroundings better and provide dynamic obstacle avoidance. The app's smart features allow you to alter a variety of settings including AI cleaning and virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. robot vacuum reviews and mop return to their charging station at the end of each job to clean their pads and empty the dust bins and place the debris into the self-sealing bag. This keeps the system tidy and stops allergens from circulating. Its battery longevity is sufficient to handle large spaces without requiring a recharge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the expensive robot vacuum and mop models that we have reviewed, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the price. It comes with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power as well as a rotating brush for carpets and hard floors, and great obstacle-avoiding. It also has a unique mopping method, that uses a roller that is continuously filled with water to pick up dirt and deposit it in the dirty water tank.
Its navigation system was efficient. It avoided stairs and navigated close to walls without crashing. However, it had trouble with finely engrained debris and wasn't always able to remove raised thresholds in rooms. The operating noise level is also high, which suggests it could be a less reliable set-and-forget model than some.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, has a a docking system that allows it to refill its clean water, empty the dust bin, dry and wash the mop, as well as empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easy and allows the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors in regular schedules. You can manage all of its functions via the Eufy app, which provides a clear overview and plenty of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the top robot mowers and vacuums available, and it offers impressive mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can detect furniture legs and other obstacles with a decent precision, and the app lets users fine-tune coverage of the map, define no-go zones, and customize cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush is designed to stop hair from wrapping itself around it. This can be an issue for many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too, with Reuleaux triangular mop pads that spin at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system is equipped with intelligent carpet detectors, which lift the pads up when they're near soft surfaces to avoid contamination.
The docking station is an automated maintenance center that is able to wash and dry the mops, and refills them with detergent and distillate water. The base station has an integrated dust removal system that compacts dust, which allows for seven weeks of maintenance free operation.
6. S10
This robot is just a few hundred dollars more than the S8 and does a fantastic job of keeping my office tidy. It also has the ability to reach the corners of my small apartment. It uses laser mapping system and camera to create a 3D model of your home so that it knows what to avoid. In addition, unlike other vacuums that have mopping capabilities it also has detection of objects and obstructions that avoids things like bowls and dog toys (but not poop!).
Other fantastic features include a self-emptying dustbin and a mop that is self-washing, adjustable to water temperature, and an extended side-reaching brush that is able to reach areas that other mops cannot reach. You can also set up cleaning schedules within the app and adjust settings for every room in your home.
Similar to the S8, it has multi-room smart mapping, and can distinguish between laminate flooring, carpets and hardwood with high-pile rugs. If you're looking to save time, it can even skip cleaning rooms that aren't soiled. If you have a wide range of flooring in your home and don't wish to spend extra money on a Roborock with advanced mapping features it is a great choice.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is an excellent choice to consider if you're seeking a flexible robot that can do both regular maintenance and touch-ups to wet messes. It comes with a variety of features including the ability to empty the dustbin on its own as well as the water refill dock, and adjustable settings within the app. It's extremely quiet and can maneuver around furniture legs and socks effortlessly. It's not able to remove the tangled tassels of rugs, and its battery drains a little more quickly than other models we tested in our tests.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerful unit that provides a powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek. It didn't score quite as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests like the pricier Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however, it did very well overall. It has a variety of cleaning options, ranging from the low power 'Quiet mode for light debris to the powerful Turbo mode for carpeted areas. It also has the capability to automatically remove and reattach its mop pads without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great two-in-one robot vacuum and mop for people who live in cramped areas. It is very fast and quiet, and it can navigate tight spaces with ease. It is also very good at removing pet hair off carpets.
It's smaller than its rivals, but doesn't sacrifice any features. It has good suction power and can be configured to take pictures of each object it chooses (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys) and mark them in the app as "not located', so that they are not taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure and are not tied to your account.
It is capable of vaccuming but isn't quite as efficient at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped onto the bot's bottom and drags them across the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal that have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
